The best way to take care of your patent leather shoes is to wipe the dust and dirt off with a damp cloth, then you use a patent leather cleaner, and apply a thick layer to the entire shoe with the cloth. For black shoes with white scuffs use a black one to recolour and apply shine. Let the cleaner dry for 3-5 minutes and you will see a white film appear on the shoe. Finish off with buffing the shoes with a cotton cloth on the dried cleaner, which will result in a high gloss shine to the shoes.
